Founded in 2019 by Brendon Mitchell, Oceania Geo started out as a Geophysical Consultancy Service. Leveraging 20+ years of experience in geophysics and seismic, Brendon offered innovative seismic solutions to clients across Oceania. In 2023, joined by his wife Samantha, Oceania Geo evolved into a full-scale seismic surveying company, with a hand-picked team and a fleet of bespoke equipment. Oceania Geo's unique, custom-made equipment and methodologies ensure an extremely low environmental impact, while also prioritising personnel safety, lower costs, and data integrity. Utilizing high-energy, highly mobile energy sources and lightweight, high-tech geophysical receivers, the company's technology, equipment, and approach challenge traditional views and are making seismic surveying commercially and operationally viable in areas where it may not have been otherwise.
